It's morning at Dunder-Mifflin. Everyone is basically getting geared up for the day.
Pam has just pretty much gotten herself settled at reception.

We see the Enterprise being fired on by three Romulan Warbirds. She is returning phaser fire.

INT. BRIDGE

WORF
They've damaged our port nacelle!

ALLENBY
We've come out of warp, Captain! The Warbirds are bracketing us!

RIKER
Concentrate fire on the closest Warbird, Worf, we have to make a hole!

We see the Enterprise docked at a large Regula-class Starbase in deep space. No planets are visible.

CAPTAIN PICARD VOICE-OVER
Captains Log: Stardate 44972.3. The Enterprise has been summoned to Starbase 718
