COMMISSIONS!

Yup, I am available for commissions. I owe a lovely young lady a drawing and I will get that done. But I am looking to do others as well. All I need are a few good pics (I stress good; I need pics that LOOK like who I am drawing, not ones with insane smiles or half obscured). I am thinking of starting at $50 for a basic straight caricature. Remember, this is a computer file that I can send as an Illustrator format along with a hi-res jpeg. So if you want to see your self or a loved one in my style, let me know. Thanks!

Hey, thanks! I really, really appreciate that! Um... I usually do it in one of two ways. I'll do a sketch, sorta working out what I want to do, scan it in and then bring it into Illustrator. Then I'll create another layer and work on top of the art, usually with just a red stroke to make sure the general shapes are where I want it. Then I'll fill them with color and start defining things more clearly. I usually reduce the
opacity on a lot of color and shapes, just to layer things on top of one another. Then I'll keep playing with it until it gets to where I want it to go. The other way is just me opening up a blank Illustrator document and winging it... lol... Thanks again!
